What exactly is  Hands-FREE travel?
It's a benefit, where you can have your checked baggage picked-up, whether at your home, office or hotel, and you won't see it until you pick it up from the baggage claim at your destination.

Imagine the cumbersome task of dragging your baggage, all the way to the airport.
Once you arrive at the congested airport, imagine yourself, looking for escalators, baggage carts and fighting through the crowd.
Even if you use the normal delivery service to the airport, you still have to carry your baggage to the airline check-in counter.
Have you ever had to wait for your checked baggage security inspection, prior to check-in.
Eliminate all the hassle.
All you need to do is proceed directly to the airline counter for check-in.
It,s a very simple process. What you need to do is;
reservation Baggage drop-off
Please contact the hotel counter, and the application form is available there.
Leave your baggage at the hotel counter, and a "delivery receipt" will be issued.
Check-in (on the day of departure) Pick-up your baggage
When you check-in with the airline, the baggage claim check will be given to you in return for the "delivery receipt".
Simply pick-up your baggage at your destination.
Please refer to the JAL or ANA brochure for further details.

Hands-FREE Travel is part of the "e-Airport Concept", which is fully supported by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation (MLIT) and is carried out by "Advanced Airport Systems Technology Research Consortium" (ASTREC). This is a new feature, utilizing RFID technology, modeling for the future.

By combining the existing delivery services and airline baggage handling, which has been 2 separate functions, passengers will no longer be required to retrieve the baggage from the delivery service company. Thus, passengers can travel to the destination, Hands-FREE.

This feature provides maximum security for passengers departing on international flights out of Narita International Airport and at the same time, is easy and quick, aiming for the objective of providing SPT
(Simplifying Passenger Travel).
